Leading learning requires strategic, focused, and meaningful use of multiple measures of data (STAAR, local tests, and evidence other than tests); using those data to set priorities; and mapping those priorities onto a professional plan. The first step in that process is to generate lead4ward data reports using your own data. This workshop focuses on understanding and using the data tools throughout the school year, using various reports to guide conversations and planning in PLCs, and exploring ways to organize campus and classroom intervention efforts. The workshop also explores ways to integrate state and local assessments to create more meaningful data visuals for analysis of student performance and growth.

what you will learn:

  • overall design and purpose of each tool/report
  • methods of connecting and synthesizing data on student performance and growth
  • deeper and more purposeful analytics by blending data types and lead4ward visualizations
