The conference is about relaxing a little and getting your creative juices flowing. It's about taking our best ideas in instruction and playing with them in a different way. It's about gathering pieces and parts and creating a new whole. It's about using play to do one thing differently. Are you ready?

Kids play like they mean it

Kids play like they mean it! They create new games, make new rules for old ones, laugh a lot, dig around, race all over, build things as high as they can and watch them fall down, and do it all over again. The games, ideas, and worlds that kids create come so naturally – they innovate, create, and celebrate. Every now and then, we – as adults – need to recapture a little of that spirit and fire up the engine of innovation that ignites when we play!

When we play with ideas, wonderful things emerge. At this year’s think! conference, we want you to take ideas – new or old – and play around with them. Together, with other rock-star educators, we will spend a couple of days playing with some of the best ideas around the state – ideas that engage kids and inspire them to learn.
