Please join us for a day of exploring and examining the 2023 A-F system refresh!

Since June of 2022, TEA has offered stakeholders an unprecedented opportunity to be involved in the decision-making process relating to the A-F Accountability System for 2023 and beyond.

Throughout the remainder of 2022 (and continuing through the end of February 2023), TEA has encouraged stakeholders to submit suggestions for consideration and provide feedback on proposals released by the Agency.

This 1-day Symposium is designed especially for district and campuses leaders who want up-to-the-minute information about 2023 Accountability.

The day will include updates directly from the Agency as well as a panel discussion with Superintendents addressing the challenges of leading instruction in a year of uncertainty.

Throughout the day we will explore:

  • where we are in the process of finalizing the rules for 2023
  • the proposed changes to the metrics and measures
  • what the anticipated impact of the change will be
  • how district and campus leaders can continue to effectively lead and support student learning through the end of the 2022-23 school year

In short, we will focus on where we are, where we are going, and what we can do to support our teachers, our staff and our students.
