The streamlined K-5 Social Studies TEKS will be implemented in the 2020-21 school year. What changes have been made, and how will they impact instruction and student learning?

 

Virtual learning requires creating opportunities for educators to access content in a variety of ways. The Social Studies learning videos allow participants to access the pre-recorded, guided instruction when it works best for them: as individual learners, as plc teams, or as a campus. Engage with what you need, when you need it!

 

Instruction will be delivered through pre-recorded learning videos. An additional three hours of application work will be provided for a total of six hours of professional development.
